Description:

  • The transferred cassettes were marked "5th gen sbd", and judging from
the sound, this appears to be correct. The show is complete and the
sound quality is good considering the apparent number of generations in
the source. A slightly degraded sbd source provides certain parts of
the show: all of the "tuning" track before Stranger, and from 01:04 of
Drums thru 05:40 of The Other One. There's a brief cut in drums at the
source-change point, and a small cut in space that was presumably for
a tape flip. Soundforge was used to make fades, small edits, and smooth
out the areas around the tape flips. Thanks go to Jeff Harrison for the
source cassettes, and to Jake Feinberg for his tireless efforts to
track down new sources for etreers everywhere. ENJOY AND SMILE!
