i drove from nh to ca to see these two shows. a bunch of us in a VW bus did the shows leading up to this, AZ, UT, CA... will never forget it. There was a guy selling "morning dew" stickers that looked like the soda, and was next to him when they played it. Thre was a crunchy young couple stamping match books with angles camp dead artwork and handing them out. I still have it somewhere. There was a family band playing out in the campgrounds during the night after the show. mom, dad and 4 kids, jamming for us all. The latino woman with a framed picture of carlos santana in th front row screaming for him when he came on. The dude with the plastic spider in his mouth freaking us all out, ends up getting the hot girl at the end of the night.. go figure. sleeping in a bag on the ground next to an old school bus, waking up to terantula spiders on the ground next to me. crazy times.
