Description:
- --most of the cuts are a result of stopping the reel to save time/batteries, and are therefore very minor in most cases
--dropout @ 1:55 in Bobby McGee
--tape warble @ 6:05 in The Other One(1)
--tape damage(?) @ 6:39-6:50 in 2nd Other One
--tape warble @ 0:08 in 2nd Cryptical
--Sound Forge was used for normalization, correction of the pitch, crossfades, and smoothing over troubled areas.
Comments:
This is a decent mono audience recording of seeming moderate distance from the source of music. The microphone is often bumped or moved, causing some noise. The crowd is relatively quiet.
Deadlists comments:
This show is usually listed on tapes and in Deadbase as 8/24/71. But, according to Dwight Holmes the circulating aud tapes for this show were made by Stephen Wade, who says that he only taped the first show (8/23) and not the second (8/24). Additional evidence from Jeff Tiedrich also indicates that this is 8/23 and not 8/24.
