This is one great show @ the historic North London N4, England venue the Rainbow Theatre ,formerly the famous Finsbury Park Astoria where eg rock'n'roll package shows would take place in the 1960s. The Beatles and the Rolling Stones etcetera had played here beneath the proscenium arch surrounded by the Moorish Village backrop. The Duke Ellington Jazz Orchestra played here too. This was one of the second series of four-night shows in 1981. After the March run, the elevated stands had been taken out of the stalls area so in October it was strictly ballroom and the audience had come to dance and to move and groove, The band was on top form, putting in a consistent performance of seventies favourites in theisr performances, their first in Europe since the 1974 shows at London's  Alexandra Palace. Surely there's a Dave's Picks 'Best at the Rainbow Theatre London album in here? Cheers!
