Pitch-corrected fix of shnid 33704
All editing done in CE Pro. The CE Pro temp directory and the files being worked on were on 2 separate, defragged external drives.
This source was pitch/time stretched to 101.5%. Various tones generated in CE 2000 were compared with Brent's synthesizer played back in CE Pro. All tracks were worked on individually. Resulting SBEs were cleaned up using shntool.
The patch in drums was redone using the same source as Charlie Miller. A 5 second crossfade was applied to the beginning and a 2-second crossfade to the end. The patch source was time/pitch stretched to 97.79% to match the stretched SBD source (AUD source was also a little off-pitch, flat as opposed to the SBD being sharp). After the crossfade back into the SBD there's a sudden, brief dropoff in volume, that's part of the SBD and not the patch.
Many thanks to Charlie Miller for the SBD source and to Doug Nawrocki for the fine AUD. CAVEATS: This is as close to the correct pitch as my ears and equipment could make it. 100% correct pitch is not guaranteed but expressly disavowed - this is nearer the target but not a bullseye. Also, while any decreasing of pitch and speed automatically exaggerates any cassette wow, it's so infinitesimal in the original source as to be nonexistent, so it's not really a problem here.
