. does anyone know where the picture on the cover was taken?

Nicholas Meriwether

Yes, Stanley Mouse took the picture; he recalls that it was in front of Barney's Beanery, closed at the time,in San Francisco; it was really hot that day and close to a rendering plant, which smelled horrifically. So it was a tough day, but it produced a great image. Thanks for asking ~ Nicholas
