GD Archive: Thank you for including my work in the Archive. Was this the same poster that I dropped off at the Dead office, to the office manager, in 1971? Please let me know if you need any other copies, or other works. Mahalo, Jim Pierce

Thanks for including my 1970/71 work here in the Archive! This was done by me originally in pencil on paper, and each section / photo / layer was placed on a clear acetate sheet, per the printer's instructions, which were overlaid for the final version. For the clean black lines, I used a crow quill pen and bottle of black ink (no computers or Photoshop back then). I also worked stage for the promoter, Direct Productions (same for my UC Davis 1971 Picnic Day poster, later in the year, also held at Freeborn Hall). From Portland, OR 12/29/2020 James Pierce
