We took an old Vietnam vet who'd never seen the Fellas play. This night was fortunate, to say the least- in terms of latter-day Dead vintages. I mean, let's face it; by fall of '94, all 6 nights at the Garden in hopes of a gig lile this one..... It was a nice surprise. Crowd noise & general lack of attention-span notwithstanding; a great night, really. And to bring a friend to a single show and end up hitting this one, well! I guess remaining faithful had its rewards after all.
