Great photos, nice to see them surface. The drummer for the early '72 Howard Wales/Jerry Garcia tour was Jerry Love, not Bill Vitt. Love was an old friend of Wales from the Midwest. Bill Vitt didn't like to tour out of town--he'd done plenty of that in previous years-- so if he was even asked he would have said no.
